Organic Sicilian Linguine
Bronze-cut linguine made in Sicily from organically grown Sicilian Perciasacchi and Russello wheat
About this product
Bona Furtuna presents organic linguine crafted from 100% heirloom Sicilian wheat varieties, Perciasacchi and Russello, extruded through bronze dies. The long, narrow strands have a naturally textured surface that helps sauce to cling, and presents with a hint of sweetness. Enjoy it with your favorite sauce, or in herbal dishes like pesto alla Genovese.
Linguine is Italian for “little tongues,” and was created in the Liguria region near Genoa in the 1700s. This linguine is made simply from organic Sicilian durum wheat semolina organically grown on La Furtuna Estate in a collaboration with the master pasta makers of central Sicily.
